By accessing or using Pixelify.studio (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Pixelify.studio provides free, browser-based file conversion tools. Our Service allows you to convert, compress, and edit various file formats including images, PDFs, videos, audio files, and documents directly in your web browser.

All file processing occurs locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or process your files on our servers.

3. Client-Side File Processing

All file conversions and processing on Pixelify.studio happen entirely within your web browser using client-side technologies such as WebAssembly (FFmpeg.wasm), the Canvas API, and the Web Audio API. Your files are never uploaded to our servers, and we have no access to your files at any time.

Because processing happens locally, the speed and capability of conversions depend on your device’s hardware, browser version, and available memory. We are not responsible for performance limitations caused by your local environment.

4. User Responsibilities

When using our Service, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Not attempt to access systems or data not intended for you
  • Not use the Service to process files that contain malware or malicious code
  • Ensure you have the right to convert any files you process
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. AI-Powered Tool Usage and Rate Limits

Certain tools on Pixelify.studio (e.g., Image to Text, Remove Background, AI-based enhancements) use third-party AI services, including Google’s Gemini AI API, for processing. By using these tools, you acknowledge that:

  • Image data may be sent to Google’s servers for AI processing and is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy
  • AI-powered tools are subject to a rate limit of 3 requests per minute per user to ensure fair usage and service stability
  • AI results are approximations and may not be 100% accurate; they should not be relied upon for critical or professional purposes
  • We reserve the right to adjust rate limits or temporarily disable AI features to maintain service quality

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Pixelify.studio and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to the files you process using our Service. Since files are processed locally on your device, we never have access to, ownership of, or rights to your content.

7. Analytics and Data Collection

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data to improve our Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to the collection of:

  • Page views, session duration, and engagement metrics
  • Tool usage patterns and conversion events (format types only, never file content)
  • Device and browser information
  • Approximate geographic location (country/city level)

This data is processed by Google LLC under their Privacy Policy. No personally identifiable information or file content is collected. You may opt out of analytics tracking as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Service Availability and Free Tools

Pixelify.studio is provided as a free service. We strive to maintain reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to any tools. Specifically:

  • All tools are offered free of charge, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool at any time without prior notice
  • We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or infrastructure changes
  • Service interruptions may occur due to technical issues, third-party dependencies, or circumstances beyond our control
  • There is no service-level agreement (SLA) for free tools, and no compensation will be provided for downtime

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
