1. Information We Collect

1.1 File Processing

All file conversions and processing happen entirely in your browser using client-side technologies (WebAssembly, Canvas API, Web Audio API). Your files are never uploaded to our servers. We have no access to your files at any time.

1.2 Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. These tools collect anonymized usage data such as page views, session duration, and device type. No personal information is shared with these services.

GA4, provided by Google LLC, collects the following types of information:

  • Pages visited and features used (e.g., which conversion tools are most popular)
  • Browser type, version, and operating system
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet) and screen resolution
  • General geographic location (country/city level, derived from IP address)
  • Referral sources and traffic channels
  • Session duration and engagement metrics
  • Conversion events (e.g., which file formats are converted, tool usage frequency)
  • Search queries used within the site

Important: Google Analytics does not have access to the content of your files. We only track aggregated usage patterns (e.g., “a JPG-to-PNG conversion was performed”) — never the actual file data. IP addresses are anonymized and this data cannot be used to identify individual users.

1.3 Contact Form Data

When you submit a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message. This data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (neon.tech) and is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

The limited information we collect is used to:

  • Improve and optimize our tools and user experience
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests
  • Send newsletter updates (only if you subscribe)
  • Detect and prevent abuse of our services

3. AI-Powered Tools

Some tools (Image to Text, Remove Background, etc.) use Google’s Gemini AI API for processing. When you use these tools, the image data is sent to Google’s servers for processing and is subject to Google’s privacy policy. No data is stored by us after processing.

These AI-powered tools are clearly labeled in our interface. By using them, you consent to this limited data transfer for the purpose of AI processing.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies from Vercel and Google Analytics. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings.

Specifically, the cookies we use include:

  • Essential cookies: Remembering your preferences (e.g., language settings, recent tools)
  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*): Used to distinguish unique users and sessions. These cookies expire after 2 years and 24 hours respectively.
  • Vercel Analytics: Lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies for individual tracking.

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): For website analytics and usage tracking. Data is processed by Google under their Privacy Policy. Google may transfer data internationally but applies appropriate safeguards.

  • Google Gemini AI API: Used in AI-powered tools for image analysis and processing. Data is subject to Google’s privacy policy.
  • Neon (neon.tech): PostgreSQL database hosting for contact form submissions.
  • CDN providers: To deliver our website content efficiently.
  • Cloud storage integrations (optional): Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive are available for file import. These services are accessed only when you explicitly choose to use them and operate under their own privacy policies.
